Ben Hubbard

Coach Ben Hubbard is entering his third year with the Bellevue HS basketball program and his twelfth year coaching overall. Prior to coaching at Bellevue, he coached basketball as an assistant coach at Huron High School in Ann Arbor, MI and water polo as the head coach of Michigan's Club Water Polo team, where he went 26-2 in two years and won Big Ten Coach of the Year. He specializes in basketball analytics, scouting, defensive strategy, and post play.

Outside of basketball, Ben works as a Sr. Manager of Performance Analytics at T-Mobile. He hails from Ann Arbor, Michigan and has been an avid (Michigan) Wolverines fan since he could walk, and even more so after graduating from U of M with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2012. He lives in Bellevue with his girlfriend and dog and coaches basketball to give something back to the local community. He also hopes to show kids how basketball analytics can help them become better basketball players so that more students will enjoy learning math and science.
