The Bellevue Wolverines have now taken over the driver’s seat in the 3A KingCo standings, pulling off a 58-46 win against the Lake Washington Kangs. The player of the game was junior forward Kenyan Jackman-Thomas, who not only played stellar defense but got a ton of offensive rebounds that were finished perfectly. Seniors Alex Yu and Brady Kageyama also provided consistency within the offensive game, while Hogan Hansen took care of business on the boards. Senior guard Orhun Dakad and forward Blane Stauffer also provided a spark off the bench with their combination of playmaking and shooting as well as defense that propelled the Wolverines to victory. The Wolverines will now head to Juanita on Friday where they will face the Ravens for the second time this season, hoping to continue their win streak.
