The #1 seeded Bellevue Wolverines are your 2023 KingCo Champions after defeating the #2 seeded Liberty Patriots 79-49! The player of the game was 1st team All-KingCo star Alex Yu, who put up monster numbers in the paint while limiting KingCo MVP Ryan Gallagher to just 6 points on the defensive side. Fellow 1st team All-KingCo player Brady Kageyama also had a great shooting night from 3 point range, while honorable mention Kenyan Jackman-Thomas had a few insane highlights, including a major block. Seniors Orhun Dakad, Andrew Gooding, junior Hogan Hansen, and sophomore Bryce Smith also had key roles that helped get the team the victory. The Wolverines are now headed into a bye round before facing Seattle Prep on Tuesday in the 2nd round of Districts.
